What happens if I decide to cancel the trip?
In case of trip cancellation, Brasil Planet will apply a penalty in accordance with Embratur regulation (Ministry of Tourism) no. 161 of August 9, 1985. The penalties are calculated on the total cost of the tour as follows:
20% penalty for cancellations made up to 30 days before the start of the trip.
30% penalty for cancellations made between 29 and 21 days before the start of the trip.
50% penalty for cancellations made between 20 and 7 days before the start of the trip.
100% penalty for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the trip.
IMPORTANT: No refunds are provided for bookings during Carnival and New Year periods.
What happens if I want to change the itinerary after confirming it?
Once the itinerary has been confirmed and bookings completed, any changes will involve additional costs and may affect service availability.
Key points to consider:
Availability check: any change is subject to availability of the new accommodations, transportation or services requested.
Change fees: any penalties charged by hotels, transport companies or suppliers will be communicated and, if approved, added to the revised trip cost.
Updated quote: a new personalized proposal with updated costs will be provided.
Payments already made: amounts already paid may be reused when possible, but in some cases they may be non-refundable.
Timing: the closer to the departure date, the higher the potential financial and logistical impact of changes.

How can I pay in Brazil? Do I need cash or is a credit card enough?
If you need to exchange foreign currency into Brazilian reais, you will always find currency exchange offices in all major airports in Brazil. However, it is important to know that in Brazil credit cards are widely used and accepted almost everywhere, even for small payments like a coffee or a pack of candy.
Can I book my flight on my own, without going through your agency?
Absolutely! At Brasil Planet, we don’t require our clients to purchase flights through us. We understand that airlines often offer exclusive and more competitive fares directly on their websites, which unfortunately travel agencies like ours cannot access. That’s why you’re free to choose and book your flight independently.
How to proceed to make a payment via Credit Card?

It’s a simple and secure process. We recommend making the payment via smartphone, as transactions are generally more likely to be accepted compared to those made on a computer.
Important Note: As this is an international transaction performed without the physical insertion of the card into a POS terminal, the bank may, for security reasons, decline the operation. In this case, the only alternative is to proceed via bank transfer.

Is it worth taking out travel cancellation insurance?
Taking out travel cancellation insurance is highly recommended, especially since a trip is a significant investment and unforeseen personal or family issues can always arise. This policy protects you from losing all or part of the amount paid in case of cancellation for valid reasons covered by the contract, such as illness, accidents, or other emergencies. Since refunds without insurance may be limited according to current regulations, the insurance gives you greater peace of mind and more secure financial protection. In short, it’s a small extra expense that can help you avoid major losses. We also remind you that in the event of cancellation, you will still be in your country of residence: for this reason, it is essential to purchase the policy through an insurance company based in your own country.
Are the trips daily or do they have fixed dates
Our trips are available daily, allowing you to choose the best date for your journey without having to worry about pre-set schedules.
Is a deposit required to confirm the booking?
Yes, once we have confirmed all the services included in your package (hotel, excursions, etc.), we will send you the information to make a deposit payment. This allows us to guarantee the availability of accommodations and finalize the bookings. The balance can be paid up to 30 days before departure.
How do I book a trip with Brasil Planet?
Book your trip in 3 simple steps:
Send us your details: Provide the full names, birth dates, and passport numbers of all participants. If you already have them, share your flight details, including the flight number.
Confirm and pay: We’ll take care of booking hotels, excursions, and all the activities for your trip. You’ll then receive instructions to complete the payment via bank transfer or credit card.
Travel worry-free: Once payment is confirmed, we’ll send your digital "E-Vouchers" via email and WhatsApp. Using them is easy: no need to print them! Simply show them on your smartphone to our guides or at the hotels. Now all that’s left is to pack your bags and go!
We take care of everything else: We are always available for any questions or concerns. We’ll handle every detail of your trip so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your vacation.
What happens if the airline changes a flight?
Unfortunately, airlines change flight schedules quite frequently. These decisions are made unilaterally by the airline, and Brasil Planet has no decision-making power over them. In case of changes, airlines will offer alternative flights based on availability, and we, as the organizers of your trip, will do our best to adapt the program to the updated schedules, trying to preserve the initial itinerary as much as possible.
Please note that any costs of changing flights after the tickets have been issued, as well as the methods and timeframes for refunds in case of cancellation of the reservation, are established exclusively by the airlines.
Are domestic or intercontinental flights included in the tours?
International flights are not included and must be purchased through an agency in your country of origin, as airlines often apply unfavorable rates to limit competition between agencies from different countries.
Domestic flights are also not included in the tour price. However, upon request, Brasil Planet can handle the booking and provide you with a separate quote to evaluate them individually. Please note that domestic airfare rates can change daily, and the only way to lock in a price is to proceed with the purchase immediately. Moreover, since many airlines offer exclusive, more favorable rates to customers booking directly on their websites, our clients are not required to purchase flights through Brasil Planet and may choose to book them independently.
What happens if I lose an item during the tour?
Brasil Planet is not responsible for lost or forgotten items during the tour, whether inside vehicles or at hotels.
If the item is found, we will do our best to assist with its return, which will be done via postal service (Sedex or similar). The shipping cost will be entirely at the customer's expense.
Please note that it is not possible to ask our drivers to return to deliver forgotten items, as they follow a predefined route with scheduled stops and times.
For this reason, we kindly remind you to always check your belongings before leaving a vehicle or hotel room.
Is the tour suitable for children?
We believe adventure tours are not suitable for children under 5 for several reasons: some excursions require significant walking, which can be challenging for young children; the weather conditions are intense, with strong sun, persistent wind on the dunes, and lots of sand; additionally, most vehicles do not have child seats.
What types of vehicles are used and with how many people will we share them?
The type of vehicles used varies according to the itinerary and the number of participants. In the travel program, you will find all detailed information, including photos and seating capacity for each vehicle. Simply hover your mouse over the vehicle icon, located in the description of each day and excursion, to instantly view all the details.
Is it a group or individual tour?
Ours is an individual tour, allowing you to choose the best dates to travel and customize the itinerary, making your trip unique. To keep costs down, we use shared vehicles with other participants doing the same transfer or excursion, sharing expenses to offer a competitive price. So, it’s not a classic group tour where you travel with the same people from start to finish.
