The afternoon excursion to “Pão de Açúcar” or “Sugarloaf Mountain”, which together with Corcovado, share the best tourist attraction and most spectacular view of the city.
The lift is done by cable cars in two steps: during the first step you go 220 m up morro do Urca for one of the best views of Guanabara Bay and Botafogo bay. The second stretch takes you up another 396 meters where you can see a good part of the waterfront, Fort Santa Cruz and Corcovado.
Our tour will continue with a visit to some emblematic places of the city of Rio de Janeiro, the Sambodromo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Escadaria Selarón and finally the external part of the famous Maracanã Stadium.

Created in 1939 and recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site in 1986, the park contains 272 waterfalls up to 82 meters high, forming a giant 2,700-meter long semi-circle. Next, directly contracting a local agent, you can go on a macuco safári on rubber motorboats getting close to whirlpools formed by waterfalls.

After getting settled in the inn, departure at 2:00 pm for excursion in a 4x4 ( no air conditioning), Rio Preguiça is crossed by ferry to continue the trip until the Grandes Lençois Maranhenses National Park, then the trip begins with an excursion on foot to visit the beautiful Lagoa Bonita. Return to city after 6:30 pm.

Departure in the morning at 8:30 am to the port in Barreirinhas, set out in motorboat down Rio Preguiça towards the ocean.
The first stop is in the Vassouras region to visit the Pequenos Lençóis Maranhenses and see local fauna in the monkey tent known as “tenda dos macacos”; second stop is in the village called Mandacarú, a small fishing village where you can to appreciate various craft shops, the best caipirinha in the region at the kiosk on the pier and if accessible, you can climb up the light house called “Farol Preguiças” navy lighthouse to enjoy an enchanting panorama that embraces the entire mouth of the river and part of the National Park of Lencois Maranhenses; finally arriving at Caburé beach to eat lunch (not included in price) and swim in the river or sea.
Return to city after 3:00 pm.

We will visit the Farol da Barra, built in the seventeenth century, one of the postcards ofthe city, the lower town overlooking the harbor and the upper town, the richest historic buildings and the famous "Pelourinho" considered by UNESCO as the complex most important of the colonial Americas.
