The Pantanal is one of the world’s largest wetlands, featuring an annual water cycle that strongly influences the local flora and fauna. Understanding the seasonal changes in water levels and the key natural events, such as blooming and nesting periods, is essential to fully appreciate the travel experience in this unique region.

Day 1 - Cuiabá / Pantanal (Poconé)

Departures from Cuiabá and transfer to Pousada, situated in the middle of Pantanal, which will be our starting point for various excursions.
Initially we will make a path of about 100 km of paved road until we reach the town of Poconé, from where we will start a beautiful journey of about 40/50 km along the famous Transpantaneira, a dirt road that goes into the Pantanal and along which you can see various animals, such as anteaters, monkeys, coati, alligators, capybara, jabirù storks and many other species of birds.
Arrival and check-in.

We remind you that the exact schedule of the excursions may vary according to the season, the water cycle and the climatic conditions, the order of the excursions could be change respect to those described in the travel program; the exact times of each excursion will be confirmed by the pousada staff. During your stay the following tours will be scheduled at the pousada: horse riding, boat rides, trekking, bird watching, photo safari and nocturnal viewing of caimans.

You will enjoy ecological hiking tour through the wilderness of the Pantanal, guided by local guides that know all about the flora and fauna that make this place unique.
To avoid the intense heath during the day, the tours are taking place early in the morning and mid-afternoon, at these times of the day, the possibilities of seeing the movement of the animals are a lot bigger.

At night there will be a night safari, with our 4x4 Jeep we will go into the deep darkness of the night of the Pantanal and with the help of a spotlight placed on the vehicle we will try to spot the animals including little wolfsfoxesdeers, owlsalligators and many others.
At night the temperature sometimes drops below 20 ° C, take care to wear a sweatshirt to avoid getting cold.

Dinner of local cuisine served until 9:00 p.m and overnight stay at pousada in Poconé in the Pantanal.

Day 2 - Pantanal (Poconé)

After a delicious breakfast at the pousada, around 07:00 or 08:00 a.m., we will set out on a scenic horseback excursion riding the famous Pantaneiro horses. We’ll follow ecological trails that, depending on the season, can be submerged under a meter of water or completely dry. We’ll cross grasslands and stunning natural landscapes to reach strategic observation points, where we may have the opportunity to spot local wildlife.

Lunch, available until 2:00 p.m., and dinner, served until 9:00 p.m., are included in the package.

Overnight stay at pousada in Poconé in the Pantanal.

Day 3 - Pantanal (Poconé) / Cuiabá

After breakfast return to Cuiaba.
For those who need to go to the airport, departure from the hotel´s reception 8 hours before the flight´s departure.
