Set out in the morning between 6:50 am and 7:40 am in an air-conditioned bus up to 30 seats travelling along 270 km of paved road bound for Barreirinhas (gateway to Lençóis Maranhenses); trip duration 5 hours.
After getting settled in the inn, departure at 2:00 pm for excursion in a 4x4 ( no air conditioning), Rio Preguiça is crossed by ferry to continue the trip until the Grandes Lençois Maranhenses National Park, then the trip begins with an excursion on foot to visit Lagoa Azul and Lagoa do Peixe or Lagoa Bonita. Return to city after 6:00 pm.

The first stop is in the Vassouras region to visit the Pequenos Lençóis Maranhenses and see local fauna in the monkey tent known as “tenda dos macacos”; second stop is in the village called Mandacarú, a small fishing village where you can to appreciate various craft shops, the best caipirinha in the region at the kiosk on the pier and if accessible, you can climb up the light house called “Farol Preguiças” navy lighthouse to enjoy an enchanting panorama that embraces the entire mouth of the river and part of the National Park of Lencois Maranhenses; finally arriving at Caburé beach to eat lunch (not included in price) and swim in the river or sea.
Return to city after 3:00 pm.

On this day, we take the panoramic route for 3 and a half hours, following sand trails, which in the rainy season, can be flooded, you find exuberantly beautiful landscape, prairies that are slowly being overtaken by sand dunes and huts of the natives emerging at the "foot" of the desert.
Upon arriving in the small city of Rio Novo, we continue traveling 34km of paved road until we arrive in Tutóia. During the car trip, we’ll stop for lunch (not included in the price) in the village of Lagoinha, in a simple but cozy restaurant located in front of a clear water lagoon.
Arriving at the port of Tutóia around 14:30, we depart in a fast boat to visit Delta das Americas which marks the border between Maranhão and Piauí states, formed by the Parnaíba River and effluents, which in their path toward the ocean create a group of islands, offering a beautiful view of dunes, desert beaches and streams covered by mangroves and inhabited by thousands of crabs giving rise to a piece of Amazon forest in “Route of emotions”; duration of the trip is 4 full hours with stops for swimming and taking pictures.
We’re going to navigate along more than 70 km of this beautiful delta, crossing paths with native fisherman in their simple sailing canoes; it’s going to be a fascinating trip.
At the end of the excursion, the sunset, from July to January, offers the possibility of watching hundreds of fire-red ibises in flight to their own refuges in the middle of the forest, a truly amazing spectacle.

Departure at 8:00 in the morning in an air-conditioned 4X4 to the village of Jericoacoara, travelling the panoramic route through the dunes of Luis Correia and continue along 75 km of paved road until we reach Chaval where we climb go up the observatory to see look over the small city with its houses constructed in the middle of giant rocks.
We then travel 50 km of paved road until we arrive to the city of Camocim where we cross “Rio Coreaù” boarding a ferry and the trip continues long a 40-km stretch of coast, through trails, edging sand dunes, palm trees and coconut trees on the way to Tatajuba where we get to know the lagoon "Lagoa Grande” and proceed until we get the village of Jericoacoara. Duration of the trip is 6 full hours.
We’d like to mention that the actual duration of each visit is influenced by the schedule of the tides and is decided at the moment of the excursion.

Departure in the morning to 9:00 in Dune Buggy to know the Jericoacoara National Park, with its famous beaches. We will drive along sandy roads, climb dunes and arrive at the Paraiso lagoon. It will be possible to visit the famous Alchymist bathing establishment (optional visit with R $ 20 entry fee to be paid locally) where you can relax in hammocks in the crystal clear waters, sipping a good local caipirinha or the water in the natural coconut.
Later we will continue passing through a visit to the Azul lagoon and will continue until we reach the east coast of the Jericoacoara Park with a stop in the beautiful village of Preá where we will stop for lunch (lunch not included) in a typical restaurant specializing in fish and fruit of the sea and to enjoy a breathtaking view of the beach and the blue ocean.
After lunch and a last swim in the ocean, we will travel about 12 km of sandy slopes that run along the sea until we reach Jericoacoara.

Leave between 11:30 am and 12:00 noon to Fortaleza, this day we travel along a road that is approximately 6 hours shorter on 300 km of paved road, the trip is divided into two parts: the first with a local vehicle (no air condition) going through trails until arrival in the town of Jijoca on paved road where we will depart via air-conditioned tourist mini-bus to the second part of the trajectory, arrival in Fortaleza about 7:00 pm.
